The American Electrology Association Celebrates 50th Anniversary at Convention October 04, 2008
CHICAGO -- In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, The American Electrology Association (AEA) will hold its Annual Convention and Exhibitor’s Showcase at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Hotel, Rosemont, Illinois, beginning Friday, October 24, 2008.
This convention represents the largest annual gathering of electrology professionals from all over US, Europe and Asia, and is being held in special celebration of AEA’s 50 Years of Excellence, Professionalism and Education. The participants, many of whom hold the Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) credential, are attending this convention to participate in 15 hours of top-notch continuing education approved by the AEA’s Office of Continuing Education.
Additionally, this convention offers the annual opportunity for electrologists who aspire to join the coveted ranks of CPEs to sit for the exam offered by AEA’s International Board of Electrologist Certification on Friday, October 24. All eligible registrants of this convention will be awarded continuing education units (CEUs) for their participation.

Rounding out this landmark convention will be an Exhibitors’ Showcase where the latest in electrology equipment, supplies and related products will be displayed. With an eye to the future of electrolysis, many new marketing materials, including AEA’s Working Wonders Marketing Toolkit, will be available for all electrologists.
With sightseeing, great food, a 50th Celebration Luncheon and time to get to know colleagues from across the country and the world, the Annual AEA Convention is eagerly anticipated by all electrology professionals.
