Required Proof of Education, Licensure, and Identification for AEA Membership
All applicants must provide verifiable proof of electrology education.
If you received your training through an electrology school:
A photocopy of your electrology school diploma
A copy of your current driver’s license or other state‑issued photo ID
If applicable, a copy of your currentstate electrologist license
If your training was completed outside of an electrology school:
A photocopy of a diploma or transcript from your trainer
A copy of your current driver’s license or other state‑issued photo ID
If applicable, a copy of your current state electrologist license
A notarized affidavit from an apprenticeship instructor who has been an AEA Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) in good standing for a minimum of five years
Your application materials will be reviewed and you will be notified when your AEA membership is activated.
